We have a client looking for an experienced Workroom Driver to join their team, a key role in their production operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:- 8-hour shift
- Day Shift 7:15pm to 4:00pm
- Jacksonville, FL 32258: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Do you have your own reliable transportation?
- This job is located on the Southside, can you make that commute every day?
- Forklift or Pallet jack operation: 2 years (Required)
- Warehouse experience: 2 years (Required)
- High School diploma preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Report to the workstation no later than 7:15 am unless otherwise stipulated.
- Be able to work individually or as part of a team.
- Operate a Forklift or Pallet Jack efficiently.
- Lift cartons that may exceed 50 lbs.
- Move pallets from location to location as directed.
- Load pallets for shipping and unload pallets from containers.
- Always remain vigilant of surroundings, ensuring the safety of oneself and other employees.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand for up to 4 hours continuously.
- Bend, kneel, and squat as needed.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally use a box cutter and tape gun in a repetitive motion.
Knowledge and Skills:- Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Must be able to perform basic math.
